This is where the hard work begins! Your garden design is complete and the planting plan has been finalised. You have chosen your contractor and now the garden of your dreams begins to take shape.
Step Seven Build
Whether you decide to work with my recommended landscaper or your own contractor, your garden build will follow the agreed design. Your contractor will liaise with any third parties, such as electricians and plumbers, so you only have one point of contact for updates on how the build is progressing. If required, I will be on hand, as your design consultant, to oversee the work and monitor the project to ensure both building and planting is delivered as planned.
Step Eight Plant
I work with carefully selected nurseries and suppliers across the UK and Europe to select the very best for your beautiful landscape garden. Throughout my own experience and that of my arborist experts, I can source, supply and plant large specimen shrubs, topiary and hedging to provide instantaneous impact to a garden design or landscape.
All year round colour, shape and texture will give your garden its very own character for you to enjoy and escape into.
Step Nine Garden Handover
This is one part of my job that I absolutely adore! Your garden is complete and is now transformed. At this point and for a final time, I will walk around your garden with you to make sure everything is just right, answering any questions you may have. Then I hand the garden over to you. Your garden has a new lease of life and with your care, it will continue to flourish for many years to come.
Step Ten Garden Care & Stewardship
Every garden is different and as such, every garden needs to be cared for a bit differently too. As part of the garden handover, I can prepare specific maintenance guides, so you are ready to take on the garden as it grows and matures over the coming years.
In addition, I can arrange for one of the skilled gardeners from my recommended planting company to visit you to help you look after your beautiful new garden. Visits are arranged at a frequency which suits you, but they are usually weekly or fortnightly. Likewise, I can offer to make quarterly visits to carry out more of the technical tasks such as pruning and feeding.
I also welcome the opportunity to visit your garden to see how it is flourishing throughout the different seasons and perhaps enjoy a cup of tea too!
